KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Farm Worker, you will be involved in a wide range of agricultural activities, including:
- Clearing fields of wood, stones, and debris
- Planting, cultivating, and irrigating crops
- Fertilizing and spraying crops as required
- Harvesting crops and hand-picking vegetables
- Sorting harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable categories
- Feeding and tending to animals
- Monitoring crop and livestock health, identifying potential issues
- Operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment
- Performing hoeing techniques between crop rows
- Inspecting products for quality and market readiness
TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Successful candidates should have:
- Basic understanding of farming operations and crop handling
- Familiarity with agricultural tools and machinery (training may be provided)
- Ability to work in physically demanding outdoor conditions
- Prior farm experience considered an asset but not mandatory
